DTE Energy is currently seeking a Gas Data Integrity Manager in their Detroit, MI location.

The Gas Data Integrity Manager will oversee gas pipeline facility records and information management strategy, policies, procedures and systems involving gas assets.

As a Gas Data Integrity Manager you will:



  • Adhere with governance of records review, record storage, and field data collection, document control processes

  • Implement automated record processes

  • Be responsible for integration with system records repositories

  • Collaborates with leaders to develop strategic plans, implement and maintain records management processes

  • Established compliance targets under industry guidelines

  • Oversees initiatives and resources involving gas assets record review and data management

  • Develops and refines processes for pipeline facility record requirements from record creation to record storage including oversight of record defect remediation work

  • Oversees the development of a central records storage database for gas-related assets

  • Partner with technology teams to support records and data management initiatives

  • Leads strategic initiatives for geographic information system (GIS) and related platforms

  • Oversee GIS system data updates for gas-related assets, inclusive of integration of pipeline and station facility

  • Work on asset management work tracking systems

  • Ensures the accomplishment of the following core supervisory/management functions for a given group(s) within a business unit: planning, organizing, directing the performance of on-going activities and/or special/ad hoc assignments

  • Staffing (employee selections, training, coaching and performance management, time entry)coordinating, reporting and budgeting

  • Leads the continuous improvement commitment and efforts for team, including designing processes

  • Establish quality and quantity standards, metrics, collecting, refining, adapting, and communicating best practices

  • Project management leading teams of supervisors and individual contributors



Basic Qualifications:




  • BS Degree

  • 8 years of experience in information management, engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field

  • Experience in data management system software and platforms

  • Natural gas experience with a focus on records management practices and complex filing systems and GIS

  • 3 years of project management experience leading teams

  • Experience with Documentum, SAP, Click Soft, Maximo or any type of records systems



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in library science, information management, business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline

  • Experience handling confidential, privileged and proprietary records

  • Experience with construction and engineering related documentation, including database maintenance and creation

  • Certified Records Management designation

  • Membership in records or information management association (e.g., Association of Records Managers

  • Administrators, Association for Information and Image Management

  • Experience in planning, analysis and performance of implementation of cross-organizational processes.

  • Professional certification and membership are a plus such as: Certified Records Management; Association or Records Managers, Administrators & Associations for Information and Images Management
