Shireenlakdawala.com is looking for a lady's dress designer that will work closely with the women’s design team to get a grasp of their vision for each style then ensure all standards of quality are met before the shipping deadline.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit. Analyzing and evaluating garments with correct fit and construction specifications.
• Attending sample fittings; evaluating the fit of each sample and providing solutions to problems
• Regularly reviewing size specifications, grade rules, and figure types to ensure size range meets company objectives
• Working with materials and production vendors to troubleshoot problems in production and/or budget
• Lead communication with the overseas vendor's on product category regarding construction and fit.
• Identify opportunities for cost engineering improvement.
