Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
-Rent pool equipment
-Clean and maintain the pool area
-Oversee pool activities and ensure safety and comfort of pool guests
-Record details of attendance, sales, receipts, and reservations
-Pool maintenance
-Sell and serve refreshments to customers
-Hand out towels
-Ensure that guests adhere to all safety rules
-Serve as a backup lifeguard if necessary
Job Requirements:
Requirements
- Education: Not required
- Experience: Experience is an asset. Training will be provided
- Swimming ability is required
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding
- Personal suitability: Flexibility, Judgement, reliability
Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly, 32 to 40 hours per week
Benefits: Accommodation provided at a discounted rate
Important Information: Must have flexible availability – weekends and holidays. Work schedule will be from 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm. 4 to 6 days a week with days off on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required
