Job Description:

  • Microbiologist 1

Identifies, isolates, and studies micro-organisms, bacteria, and their by-products. Tracks environmental microscopic life development and collects samples from different sources.


  • Examine, record, analyze and interpret data form different samples

  • Maintain day to day lab operations according to compliance

  • Perform routine testing

  • Ensure completion of testing on time

  • Provide support as needed to meet laboratory goals

  • Prepare and check QC documents

  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and clarity in tests

  • Optimize test procedures as much as possible

  • Prepare and participate in health authorities' inspections and internal audits


  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Problem- solving skills

  • Teamwork skills

  • Following best practices

  • Comfortable working in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment

  • Advanced ability in Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Strong mathematical and reasoning ability

  • Ability to work independently

  • Effectively interpret and follow instructions

  • Attention to detail, organization, and documentation


  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Microbiology or equivalent

  • Master's degree is a plus

  • At least 1 year of experience in the industry

  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, quality control, and validation requirements and activities

  • Experience with standard microbiological techniques
