This part-time position requires filling in for open positions. You must be able to work two shifts and a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Looking for Full-Time and Part-Time shifts (Examples are Shift: 5:00 AM-2:00 PM, Shift B: 1:00 PM-10:00 PM,).
Job Responsibilities:
•Proficiently operate the Department’s toll collection equipment according to the procedures.
•Handle cash on a computerized system.
•Classify vehicles and collect proper toll amounts from motorists traveling through a toll lane.
•Accurately make the change for various bill denominations promptly, issue receipts to motorists, and write insufficient fund slips.
•The Toll Operator needs to complete operational reports reflecting toll lane activity. At the end of a shift, balance cash and prepare accurate cash deposits on monies collected and tickets received.
•Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
•Provides on the job training to newly hired toll collectors and existing employees when needed
Job Requirements:
Experience Required:
•High school diploma or GED.
•Possess and maintain a current/valid driver’s license.
•Working weekend hours are required based on business needs.
•Ability to walk long distances.
•Identify and determine vehicle classification by visual inspection.
