A multidisciplinary clinic in North York is looking to hire AB Claims Collections Administrators for a full-time position (Monday-Friday).

We are looking for vibrant and positive people with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, self-motivated, and takes initiative.

Responsibilities and Duties:

follow up on, collect and allocate payments
monitor account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
research and resolve payment discrepancies
maintain accounts receivable files and records
communicate with insurance companies via phone, email, mail or personally
prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and courier parcels
filing and data entry
process accounts receivable ensuring timeliness, accuracy of codes and appropriate backup
prepare correspondence and documents
organize medical records and process insurance forms
communicating with patients, legal representatives and other third parties
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
knowledge of SABS & AB Claims procedures
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining superb organizational skills
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to deal effectively and pleasantly at all times with colleagues, patients and other third parties
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, with an excellent attendance history
Knowledge of Outlook and Word with ability to learn additional software applications with ease
Knowledge of Universal Scheduling is an asset
