Job Description:

The Office Conference & Event Services is seeking candidates for Conference & Event Manager



The Conference & Event Services Department cultivates, plans and executes events & contracts for both external & College customers.

The key elements are to raise the level of hospitality and experience for these customers while at the same driving revenue for the college.

This position's role within the department will focus on the service of internal clients during the academic year and residential camps/conferences in the summer months

Serves as the point of contact and principal liaison for the scheduling, conceptual design and oversight of multiple, complex conferences and events for the departments and schools within the college:

Main Responsibilities: (List 5-7 main responsibilities using bullets)



















  • Serves as the point of contact and principal liaison for the scheduling, conceptual design and oversight of multiple, complex conferences and events for internal customers.

    Prepare for and oversee staffing and operations of Summer Residential Program
    Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with other campus offices and departments in support of the logistics, services and details related to events.
    Process all necessary departmental & financial paperwork/system entry as it relates to their conferences & events

  • 1-3 years experience in the fields of event management & revenue generation
    Proficiency in use of computer systems to include Microsoft office suite & event planning softwarev

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
    Degree in Hospitality a plus
