Job Description:

The primary focus of the Receiving Coordinator is to receive in daily shipments to the facility during receiving hours 8:00am – 4:30pm. This is accomplished by maintaining this company’s principles of Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Innovation.


  • Receive all purchase, service and non-inventory orders including but not limited to, raw material, finished goods, chemicals, and Return Material Authorization (RMA’s). This includes materials for Clip Appliers, Teco Grasp, Beere and Beere Forged product lines.

  • Issuing material to various shop orders per the purchase order.

  • Ensure outside vendor delivers and picks up specified orders.

  • Unbox materials and repackage them to be damage free for the next work center.

  • Management of raw material inventory in the receiving area

  • Loading and unloading raw material with forklift.

  • Analyzes raw material with X-ray scanner to determine grade of material.

  • Assists in inventory and clean/pack as needed and time allows.

  • Assists shipping department with the arrival of non-inventory items.

  • Empty and discard cardboard bailer once full.

  • Filing purchase orders

  • Ensure scrap barrels are counted and loaded onto scrap truck.


  • Frequent unbundling, lifting, and moving bar stock throughout the plant.

  • Alternating amounts of sitting, walking and standing throughout the shift.

  • Frequent use of hands.

  • Occasional amount of bending/stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and pushing/pulling.

  • Lifting/carrying to a maximum of 50-75lbs.

  • Must be able to wear appropriate safety gear such as safety glasses and shoes

    • Steel toe shoes are required to work on the dock


  • Forklift, Wesco, Slings

  • Pallet Jack

  • X-ray Scanner

  • Cardboard Bailer


  • Ability to work under strict time constraints and meet metrics in a timely manner.

  • Detail- oriented and with an emphasis on efficiency and communication.

  • Must be able to operate a forklift.

  • Possess the ability to work independently and in a group setting.

  • The ability to work overtime, including weekends.
