Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate designer of IT solutions who uses the latest technology to help our current and future clients overcome their existing challenges and meet their growth objectives. You must be prepared to tackle complex and broad-spectrum problems and keep up with latest and emerging trends in technology. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must as you will be working directly with clients and stakeholders to gain valuable insights and working with teams to drive the best solutions to the table. Additionally, you may need to travel regularly to meet directly with clients and stakeholders to share your expertise and foster relationships.

The work:

  • Understand how to gather and translate client requirements, business processes, and scope into best-fit solution designs that can be priced and effectively integrated

  • Understand and contribute in support of the cycle of RFI's, RFP's, and bid proposal preparation and completion

  • Continually research, explore, and share the latest technologies to develop a broad view of solution possibilities for our clients and stakeholders

  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of ASM's infrastructure, cloud, data analytics, automation, service desk, and network operations offerings

  • Create detailed diagrams and documentation in support of solution design work and effective implementation guidance

  • Interact with external technology vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions

  • Support delivery and execution teams by resolving complex issues independently; coordinate and communicate changes and issues with the delivery and execution teams, and, where appropriate, the client team

  • Provide leadership for the development ASM's operational and strategic direction for implementation and maintenance processes for of all our solutions

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience and a strong understanding of project/operations work and the underlying organizational structure

  • 8+ years of experience delivering IT programs, planning, and estimating (labor, H/W, S/W, etc.)

  • 4+ years of experience with one or more of the following: cloud, infrastructure, automation, service desk, or IT operations

  • You're detail oriented and good with creating and using spreadsheet models, and estimating (parametric, analogous / comparative) solutions

  • The ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

  • An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.

Bonus points if:

  • You have experience with cloud service providers (Amazon, Azure, Google) and cloud operations a plus

  • You have relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect desired

  • You've got an ITIL Certification
