Job Description:
Imagilore is looking for a talented translator to provide flawless translation for a 70,000 word fiction project. This is a contract position, with a possibility of becoming a full-time role in the future.
Job Requirements:
Responsibilities:
*Translate a fiction book accurately, while maintaining original tone, voice, and humor.
*Work with editorial staff to make sure translation style meets goals.
*Complete translation of 70,000 words within 3 months.
Skills and experience:
*At least 1 year of professional translation experience.
*Excellent communication and organizational skills.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Comfortable working in Microsoft Word.
*Applicants located in or near Los Angeles preferred.
*Applicants should be native English speakers, and must complete a short translation test.
