About This Position

The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in conjunction with the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position will be part of the Cancer Epigenetics Program and work in a highly collaborative environment investigating the molecular mechanisms of epigenetic regulation of leukemia and normal hematopoiesis.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. or other doctoral degree in a life science field of study or M.D. Strong molecular biology or cancer biology skills. Solid training in molecular or cancer biology. Strong laboratory skills. Prior experience with mouse models is preferred. Understanding of epigenome and cancer biology. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to collect, organize, summarize and report biological data. Ability to design biological experiments, with appropriate controls and conditions to address specific biological questions. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to write manuscripts independently.
