Marketing Coordinator





What does our Marketing Coordinator do?

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for strategic, tactical support of ongoing category marketing programs to build brand equity and drive business results as related to campaigns, trade shows, customer-facing events and programs; coordinating meetings, logistics and serving as a liaison for clients, agencies, associations and sponsorship functions. Serves as a key point of contact for B2B categories for internal teams; creative, website and on-line functions, as well as the respective cross-functional teams within sales, operations and the larger organization at-large.



  • Assist in developing, planning, and executing marketing programs to promote Rentokil, Steritech and other lines of business as needed, products/services and increase sales, including working with the category leaders to develop, coordinate, and track internal creative/on-line brief submissions.

  • Owns delivery and coordination of the communications calendar for the category.

  • Works with segment marketing managers on segment information and details that feed campaigns developed for social media, ad placement and sponsorships.

  • Works with the digital team to coordinate the update of web pages, social media links and landing pages. Responsible for coordinating social media posts with the digital, social, and creative teams.

  • Owns the tracking, coordination and organization of invoices against budget, along with the PO submission process, and regular reporting of fiscal status to marketing directors as needed.

  • Primary point of contact for internal customers initiating work within the department or checking the status of jobs already in progress in support of the category plans.This includes trafficking, tracking, collecting needed information, to ensure a timely delivery of ad hoc requests needed from account management, sales and operations.

  • Responsible for all aspects of trade show success and event plan implementation in conjunction with the event manager and under the oversight of the business marketing manager, including oversight on booking through to invoice management and lead tracking. May attend events as well as required.

  • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, as needed.

  • Responsible for managing inventory of in-house premiums and fulfillment of contest prizes.

  • Research, support, and recommendations for trade association engagement, media buying and advertising campaigns.

  • Provide support in tracking and reporting on the return on investment in all category marketing activities.

What do you need?



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience as a marketing coordinator for an advertising or PR agency or other large company with multiple concurrent projects

  • Experience working in category ideal, but not required

  • Experience working with vendors, invoices and coordinating events a plus

  • Experience with a marketing platform tool a plus
