Job Description:

The Customer Service Representative receives, reviews and addresses a variety of inquiries, to include complaints, requests for information and/or service etc. and follows-up on customer concerns via face-to-face, email, fax, telephone and/or regular mail.

Answer all in bound Calls

Register new patients for the University of Miami

Make new patient appointments

Make follow up appointments, physician, labs, ECHO's, EKG's, Holter monitors and nurse visits.

Make sure patients are placed with correct providers for Oncology Diagnoses

Keep record of customer interactions or transactions , recording details of inquiries, complaints or comments as well as actions taken

Contact customers to respond to inquiries and notifies them of investigation results or any planned adjustments

Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid Insurances that are accepted by the University

Escalates and refers customers grievances to designated supervisor for further investigation as appropriate

Assist in collecting medical records and giving to the appropriate persons.

Sending minimal medical information to other providers ie; Primary care doctors

Notifying nurses, physicians and admins of incoming messages via email

Monitor , register and schedule incoming fax referrals

Provide general information about services provided at each facility

Provide support to department personnel by paging, relaying information, inquiries, problem solving
