Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides instruction in the Gymnastics Department which includes; Sharing the vision for our Competitive Curriculums and Competitions as well as assisting with training new hires.
Supervisor: Director
Supervises: Junior Professional & Professional Instructors, Volunteers
Max Hours: 25 per week (based on and off site all staff meetings included)
Days: 3 5 per week (some weekends)
Compensation: $19 $25 per hour (based on experience)
Ability to coach USAG Junior Olympic and Xcel Levels
Ability to work with children of all ages, but primarily from ages 2 through 14
Understanding of gymnastics and USAG progressions for levels 1-3
Comfort with sharing virtue and character lessons with children and adults
Ability to think creatively and with an open mind with regard to programming and instruction
Ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport with participants and their parents, be a team player in the organization, and exercise good judgement
Have working knowledge of appropriate technology to grow and enhance program.
Attend monthly meetings and development trainings
Attend sanctioned competitive events.
Encourage a positive environment promoting mutual support and the desire to learn and grow.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or requested by the Director.

Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must hold the following certifications: USA Gymnastics Professional, Safe Sport, CPR AED
Must have 3 years of previous experience with pre-school, school-age, and competitive gymnastics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Exhibits an energetic, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times.
Have strong verbal communication skills to communicate professionally.
The ability to work in a team and be a team player with your staff members.
Be able to problem solve, excel with minimal supervision, and work under pressure.
Must be professional, punctual, and adapt to changes that may occur during program.
Be willing to learn and implement new strategies and receive guidance from the Director and Coordinators.
