Job Description:
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life provides organizational support, advising, and training to over 55 fraternity and sorority organizations at Texas A&M to enhance the leadership development, civic engagement, health, and safety of chapter members. This Student Development Specialist III position is responsible for advising the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and is responsible for serving as the lead OFSL staff members in one of the following areas: leadership development & community engagement; diversity and inclusion; career development; and health and safety activities. The selected candidate will subscribe to and support our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accountability (IDEA) as stated above. Job Requirements:
Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years’ experience in student affairs work or related specialty area with a bachelor’s degree
Two years’ experience in student affairs work or related specialty area with a master's degree

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Other Requirements or Other Factors:

Commitment to university’s and department’s core values
General office conditions with the majority of time spent in contact with students
Ability to work nights and periodic weekends as needed including some overnight travel for conferences and retreats
