Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly services to clients involving receipt and payment of cash through an interactive teller machine (ITM). Performs a variety of duties in processing business and banking transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support customer video teller transactions with efficiency and accuracy, utilizing policies and procedures to deliver exceptional client service;

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of bank systems while adhering to security and confidentiality standards;

  • Accepts deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments;

  • Accepts checks for cash and deposit, verifies cash, endorsements, and issues receipts;

  • Accepts savings deposits, pays withdrawals after verifying balance and signature;

  • Cross sells to appropriate clients when a need is uncovered;

  • Responsible for handling over/short account in acceptable approved manner;

  • Responds to clients' needs and inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner;

  • Ability to balance ATM, Vault, Coin and cash GL Accounts;

  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned


  • Strong math and problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to cross sale products and services

  • Must maintain confidentiality of client transactions and Bank records

  • Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

  • Good phone voice with professional and well-groomed appearance

  • Ability to interview customers and understand requests

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as, computer work stations, typewriters, calculators, and copier

  • Ability to prioritize; handle multiple tasks; and work independently

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy

  • Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products, and services offered at the bank

  • Knowledge of banking laws and regulations including BSA

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of banking experience

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive periods of standing

  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.

  • Constant judgment and concentration

  • Frequent talking and listening

  • Awareness of location and operation of surveillance equipment and how it impacts the branch
