Job Description:
We are looking for a person who is passionate about managing an interactive community and looking for a company where they can make an impact. Looking to fully revamp the current social media strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our main social channels. You'll be responsible for tracking the performance and collaborate on strategies to improve engagement and performance. You will actively engage our social followers and create meaningful connections through thoughtful community management.

You are a creative storyteller who understands how to connect with social audiences on all channels using great copy, video/photo, and meaningful, authentic interactions. Job Requirements:
Function, roles, responsibilities and expectations:

- Strategic planning: Contributing to the daily creation and execution of digital and social ad strategy development. Manage sponsored partnerships and ad requests and strategic execution.

- Podcast formatting and assistant producing: help to coordinate guests, segments, and overall tone and format content.

- Styling and preparing for social media shoots: setting up, cleaning up, and styling the talent, props, and backdrops. May include shopping trips to plan for shoots.

- Take pictures, create graphics and edit photos and videos to each social platform that engages each unique audience.

- Cover brand events, conferences, and brand activations.

- Produce analytic reports: Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates). Track follows and unfollows, saved posts, high and low performing content.

- Content organization: using google drive, drop box and the unum app to schedule daily posts across multiple platforms. To be conducted at least one week in advance with a clear vision and justification for a posting calendar.

- Copyrighting: Helping edit and curate clever, optimized and engaging wording and captions for social media and blog posts, which may include show notes for a podcast. Help writing headlines and social language and select images with social reach potential.

- Research current market trends, hashtags, and strategies for boosted engagement.

- “Reputation Management”

- Live video recordings and post-video editing as needed

- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. Outreach to strategic partners and collaboration opportunities.

- Minimum of 15 hours a week in-person, or in direct communication, via phone, video call or direct messaging, unless otherwise specified. At least one week notice if there are days requested off.

- Flexibility on the job including the willingness and ability to respond to changing circumstances and expectations readily. Ability and availability for communication on the weekends, within the allotted hours of work. Minimal travel may be required as well.

- Work with contractors, suppliers and freelancers as authorized to support the role.

- Strategize, Create and Approve Content for Publication

- Community engagement: respond and reply to fan messages via direct messages, inboxes and within the comments.
