Job Description:
Job Summary: Provide support, information and referrals to Head Start parents and staff through consultation regarding children’s atypical behavior and/or development; appropriate techniques and methods for responding to and guiding early childhood development or behavior to facilitate a timely & effective response to children’s suspected and/or identified needs.This position is based on the availability of Hurricane Harvey Assistance funding. This funding will end by December 31, 2020.
Job Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work or a related field.
Experience Required: One (1) year experience in early childhood development, special education, or social services to children and families.
