Job Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. The incumbent in this position will receive and distribute correspondence. Schedule administrative meetings. Answer phone calls and process requests. Manage patient-related correspondence. Handle re-credentialing for assigned providers if needed. Assist with any event, if needed. Provide coverage in absence of other assistants. Assist with obtaining authorizations for devices and procedures. Process provider reimbursements. Other clerical duties as assigned

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: High school diploma as well as one year of experience in a medical setting or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Possesses high level organizational skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Accurate data entry abilities.
