Job Description:

The Department of Surgery is currently seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant. The incumbent in this position requires the ability to work and coordinate independently in a complex communication network of personnel, patients, and other faculty members. Responsibilities are executed under general direction, where goals and objective of the designated unit are established and accomplished within the prescribed time frame parameters. Acts as a supervisor in her absence, works on own initiative. Makes executive decisions on their behalf with regard to faculty inquiries, phone calls, and administrative affairs. Maintain and foster good rapport between faculty, research and administrative personnel.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: High school diploma or equivalent education is required. Three years of administrative work experience.
