Our computer support technician program is taught online in a live call center. All interns learn quickly through a specialized online internship program that is a combination of intense learning which is applied directly to addressing and resolving real world help desk issues most commonly seen in a corporate environment. Internship participants start with little-to-no experience and exit the program with 6 to 8 months of real world experience. All applicants will receive a job reference from our call center, resume writing assistance,mock interviewing preparation and job placement assistance.We are a one stop shop.We track our applicants up to 36 months to make sure they are pursuing long term technical goals and are progressing their careers in the right direction. Most entry level help desk jobs start at $35k to 40k. Salaries increase 20 to 30% per year when technicians gain more job experience and acquire industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Net+. A combination of 3 years of job experience and certifications technicians usually earn an average of $65K a year and usually max out at $90K a year. There is allot of room to grow in the computer user support specialist field. According the US Labor Department California creates more "computer user support specialist" jobs in the US with more than 70k new jobs a year. This field is one of fastest growing fields in the Information Technology Field and only requires 6 to 8 months of specialized training to land your first job!

Our internships are:
Part-time, Sat -Sun, 8am-5pm Online
6 month program, starting Jan 2020 to June 2020

Internship develop expertise in the following areas:
Problem Solving, Troubleshooting tier 1 technical issues most commonly seen
ITSM platform ticketing system and customer service
Windows 10 Operating Systems
Microsoft Office 2016 and 2019
Microsoft Outlook Email
Security: running virus and malware detection programs
Adding VPN accounts and resetting passwords
Adding and troubleshooting local and network printers
Active Directory 2016 Users and Computers account creations file and folder access, password reset and more

We are a non-profit. Our internships are offered at no cost to you.

All applicants who are interested in the program must be at least 21 years old, have some prior customer service experience, and have a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must pass a basic technical exam and forgo an online interview. All applicants will be added to our wait-list. When funding is available applicants will be pulled from our wait-list in the order of date applied and added to the program.

Our Vision:
We are specifically targeting young low income Hispanic and African American adults between the ages of 21-38. Hispanics and Blacks are alarmingly underrepresented in the technical support field in Silicon Valley. Our goal is to increase these numbers by training and placing young adults in entry level help desk technician jobs in the South Bay Metro Area.
