Job Description:

General Summary

The Base Site Lead will work with our remote team to provide local data center management services and coordinate actions with the client's legacy data centers, facilities, and personnel. The candidate will be responsible for leading the overall Assessment and Migration of applications and services from bases to the cloud, including conducting a health and fit-for-cloud assessment. The candidate will identify migration requirements, assist with migrating strategies, plans, and execution. They will determine the migrations sources and target locations as well as utilize troubleshooting skills to support operations, engineering, and other functions to migrate.

Job Responsibilities

  • Converse with client and partner vendor leadership.

  • Onsite application and infrastructure support.

  • Conduct access management for infrastructure.

  • Conduct infrastructure utilization and security monitoring with tier 1 tools.

  • Maintain and report on SLA's.

  • Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities as identified.

  • Coordinate OS version upgrades and patches.

  • Provide Incident Management and Problem Management Support.

  • Provide Service Request Management.

  • Decommissioning assets.

  • Define operational improvements.

  • Coordinate hardware maintenance with vendors.

  • Maintain system and network documentation.

  • Develop and maintain standards and automation for compute, storage, and backup services.

  • Manage and maintain non-NaaS network devices

  • Collaborate with other Site Leads.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading operations organizations that provide multi-shift support for production environments/Bachelor's degree

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with using an ITSM tool for tracking service requests and tickets, such as ServiceNow

  • Ability to Proactively monitor and provide remediating actions to system alerts or trends

  • S. Citizenship Required
