Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

* Supports DevOps automation as part of the SEC's Data Science Workstations for both Windows-based and Linux-based workstations
* Develops CloudBolt scripts and Ansible deployment orchestration processes
* Automates CI/CD pipeline for the Windows-based DSW image
* Sets up and administers AWS infrastructure (i.e. CloudFormation, and other CI/CD tools)
* Deploys and administers SEC's DevOps tools for image deployment (i.e. CloudBolt & Ansible)
* Troubleshoots production issues & supports end users as needed
* Delivers technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations, and enhancements of existing systems.
* Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written and then designs, codes, debugs, and documents programs.
* Designs user interfaces of interactive web applications including ADA 508, and cross browser compliance.
* Ensures compliance with standards and conventions in developing programs. Provides guidance to less-experienced team members on adherence to policies and standards in the development field.
* Develops required specifications for very complex programs or problems.
* Develops the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Tests, debugs, and refines the software to produce the required product. Provides advanced technical experience on development best practices.
* Oversees system tests, monitors test results and ensures corrective actions are completed. Leads the resolution of complex corrective actions.
* Demonstrates best practices, processes and tools, as related to development projects.
* Prepares required documentation, including block diagrams, logic flow charts and software program documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master's Degree preferred.
10-15 years of experience with programming or web development activities.
At least 3 years of experience with CloudBolt - preferably Cloudbolt 7.1 and CloudBolt 9.x as well
At least 4 years of experience with Ansible
At least 4 years of experience of DevOps experience in the AWS Cloud
Experience in designing and deploying AWS infrastructure
Experience in both Windows & Linux Command Line administration and configuration
Experience with AWS networking and troubleshooting
Experience with AWS CI/CD pipeline deployment using open source or AWS native tools
Experience in creating deployment pipelines from the scratch
Knowledge of Git, repository tools and best practices
Test automation experience preferred
