Job Description:

  • Utilize and build dashboards and reports in PowerBI

  • Analyze portfolio and asset performance relative to budget, proforma, and industry benchmarks

  • Rely heavily on analytics and data in creating analyses and composing write-ups.

  • Analyze and report on operating results. Bring critical matters to the attention of senior management

  • Evaluate KPI and market trends. Develop data-driven recommendations

  • Maintain close interaction with various departments and field personnel to gather information

  • Support Property Management as necessary with preparation of reports, analysis, and special projects including presentations

  • Create both written and PowerPoint presentations for Executive VP

  • Research key market, business, and technology trends

  • Maintain ownership and responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of all workflow




Requirements:


  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word & Powerpoint is required

  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including experience with variance, sensitivity, and regression analyses

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of DAX or SQL is a plus

  • Ability to evaluate trends and outliers in financial statements, performance reports, and KPIs

  • Understanding of real estate economics, multifamily operations, institutional investments, and industry trends

  • Excellent research skills, including an understanding of how to identify and synthesize both internal and external sources of relevant data and information

  • Deep hunger for, and experience with, in-depth analytics and problem solving used to drive decisions

  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization and communicate with key stakeholders

  • Independent thinker and is proactive with resolving issues

  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Experience with Yardi and Sharepoint

  • Create financial models. Enhance and automate existing ones

  • Utilize and build dashboards and reports in PowerBI
