Job Description:

  • Prepare annual Business Plans, monthly budget variances & reforecasts

  • Provide sensitivity analysis, ad-hoc reporting and project support to senior management

  • Participate in building, developing and maintain a forecasting model

  • Assist with board meeting materials and executive presentations

  • Prepare Cost Center reporting and assist department heads with budgets and expense analysis

  • Prepare capital forecasts and initiate capital calls

  • Collaborate with teams throughout the organization to improve processes and provide strategic solutions while utilizing technologies

  • Monitor assets from inception through sale and understand their financial impact to the enterprise

  • Maintain ownership and responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of all workflow

Key Qualification

  • 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budget management and modeling

  • Experience building financial models.

  • Experience with preparation of annual budgets, monthly budget variances, reforecasts, sensitivity analysis and capital planning

  • Experience with supporting business process and system improvements

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office, including Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access and Teams

  • Understanding of financial terms and principles necessary in real estate underwriting, including waterfalls, IRR, NPV, Time Value of Money, Discounted Cash Flow, etc.

  • Innovative, detail oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative setting

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

  • Ability to coordinate financial tasks with other business units

  • BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting

Additional Qualifications:

  • Adaptive Insights, Real Estate, Yardi, Power BI or other dashboarding experience is a plus.
