Senior Engineer who can lead and mentor jr engineers, but is still hands on.
US citizen required,
On call 3 person rotation, they would be expected to be on call primary, then secondary every 3-4 weeks.

VCP certified must have

Technical Analyst III, 6-10 years experience.

Coordinate, manage, and lead technical support for vSphere environments (maintenance, upgrades,
Work closely with other VMware engineers/technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex
Install, manage VMware virtualization environment components (vSphere, vROPS, ESXi, vSAN).
Workload migrations using VMware native features (Vmotion/SVmotion/DRS/DRS Rules).
Configure systems for optimal end user support, including disaster recovery and scheduled
downtime plans.
Review, back up, and update systems regularly, documenting changes and system operation.
Compile, analyze, and evaluate data from multiple sources to provide decision-making information.
Create and maintain documentation as necessary for operational and security audits.
Gather requirements and recommend new systems and technology.
Secure environments by monitoring access and enforcing policies.
Ensure virtualization systems are compliant within required security standards.
Produce operational and procedure documentation and provide detailed knowledge transfer to peers
on VMware installed products.
Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling
On-call rotation responsibilities for client support (24x7)
VCP certified.
Familiar with ITAR and PCI security requirements.
VMware experience in maintaining and upgrading ESXi (6.x, 5.x) hosts and Appliances.
Storage Area Network experience.
Deployment and managing experience with Windows and LINUX systems.
Good understanding of Networking and experience in troubleshooting layer 1, 2, and 3 networking
Experience in remediating vulnerabilities on the servers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to build strong client relationship skills and proven ability to build consensus.
