Job Description:

The Operations Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties for Manufacturing Managers: including to but not limited to time keeping management, labor utilization analysis, memos, reports, presentations and coordinates meeting arrangements.


  • Functions as a practitioner in the time and attendance system and monitors the attendance and absenteeism ratio by department.

  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

  • Assist in maintaining workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and developing reporting procedures.

  • Track timely, daily operations metrics and assure that management is kept aware of plant performance

  • Responsible for labor utilization analysis including data mining of manufacturing operations and functions

  • Prepares a variety of reports and graphic presentations

  • Assist Manufacturing Managers and Leads with day to day activities as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum High School education but preferred One-year certificate from college or technical school; or

  • one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Experience with writing/formatting reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
