The Enterprise Reporting Architect supports the development of architecting, designing and implementing enterprise data analytics platform. The Enterprise Reporting Architect will provide leadership and subject matter expertise with data architecture, designing and implementing enterprise Data Lake, design and implementation of data transformation, developing analytics dashboards and advanced data science solutions. The enterprise reporting architect will provide directional guidance to a team of resources to enable an enterprise reporting platform. In this role, the architect will:
*Engage with Customer leadership to gains business insights, pain points, challenges, and strategic objectives for data mining.
*Establish overall data modeling approaches, guidelines, and leading edge practices for enterprise data architecture and business reporting.
*Conceptualize and develop data architecture by identifying business requirements, design patterns, and prototype business solutions.
*Develops conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Supports development of data staging strategies by building roadmaps and processes that meet current and potential future requirements.
*Develop architecture and design for enterprise Data Lake to store and mine structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
*Develops and maintain a repository of artifacts related to data architecture, connectivity protocols, transformation frameworks, and implementation approaches. Participates in scheduled discussions with business stakeholders, data teams, and reports team.
*Facilitates and leads sessions resulting in innovative solutions leveraging latest industry frameworks and taking the initiative to prototype new ideas and technologies.
*Continually develops skills, knowledge, and abilities to maintain currency with new developments in data architecture, data integrations, data transformation, APIs, and data management. Research and make recommendations on data tools and services.
*Analyzes broad problems and escalations by analyzing trends and performing root cause analysis. Engages with system and business owners to identify and recommend solutions for problem resolution and prevention. Aligns decision making with the organization's vision.
*Provide technical solution support for proposal development, to include technology stack, solution architecture, and implementation methodology
*Support solution and technical response development for RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, including authoring whitepapers and concept development
The candidate for the position of Enterprise Reporting Architect must meet the following qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, computer information systems, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Overall 12 years of industry experience and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in data science, Big data, and/or Data analytics
*Hands-on experience working and generating enterprise reports using tools like Obiee, Cognos, Tableau, Power BI etc.
*Hands-on experience in working with data lakes, generating BI related reports and/or dashboards
*Experience in supporting & understanding the development of data modeling standards, guidelines, leading-edge practices, and approved modeling techniques and approaches.
*Experience in identifying business requirements and functional designs, and supports prototyping, testing, and training.
*Experience developing and delivering data architecture solutions and strategies.
*Strong understanding and experience with data modeling, master data management, enterprise data warehousing, ETL, reporting, querying, requirements analysis, and data integration techniques.
*Extensive knowledge of databases and experience in database development.
*Understanding of database server architecture, administration, and security.
*Basic knowledge of network architecture.
*Ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.
*Experience contributing to and managing development policies, processes, and procedures.
*Strong communicator with experience presenting technical topics in a technically-oriented, detailed fashion to technical audiences.
*Strong communicator with experience presenting technical topics in a business-oriented fashion to non-technical audiences.
*Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members and stakeholders.
