Determine and establish office procedures and routines
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Answer electronic enquiries
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
• Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
• Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
• Assist in receiving, paying for, and distributing bills as necessary
• Other related duties as required
• Completion of Secondary School as well as a minimum of 1 year previous clerical experience OR completion of a 1 or 2 year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries is required.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
• Good command of the English language both oral and written.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends on a rotating schedule is a must.
