Title: Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics

Location: Ogilvy Health - New York City

Role Overview:

The Sr. Manager plays a vital role by working with healthcare clients and internal teams to deliver true data-driven marketing discipline by analyzing marketing communications and developing evidence-based insights, recommendations, and to enable optimization opportunism on programs. The Senior Manager will be responsible to guide junior staff, contribute to team development, drive innovative ideas, and further develop skills aligned with delivering powerful presentations and effective client relationships skills.

Additionally, the Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and enhancing multi-channel campaign measurement plans, developing tagging and tracking plans, conducting campaign analysis, collaborating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring insights are identified and converted into clear action plans.


  • Collaborate with Account leads and clients before, during and after all marketing plans are deployed, ensuring proper metrics are set up, data is collected succinctly, and results are converted into insights with a clear action plan.

  • Integrate closely with internal teams (marketing analytics, account management, digital/engagement strategy) to socialize findings to improve campaign performance and user experience.

  • Analyze various marketing and client internal data sets to provide insights and recommendations to enhance programs.

  • Provide analysis using advanced statistical methods and techniques.

  • Execute digital and multi-channel campaign measurement and analysis, test designs, ad-hoc analysis, and present conclusions to clients and internal teams.

  • Harness large volumes of data for development of reports and analysis with interpretation of results in business context, including detailed findings and implications presented to key stakeholders at all levels.

  • Participate in client management and relationship opportunities.

  • Ensure proper metrics are set up, data is collected succinctly, and results are converted into insights with a clear action plan.

  • Provide guidance to analysts and senior analysts where required.

  • Present findings to both internal and client teams with confidence and insightful analysis.

  • Work with account team to develop marketing measurement solutions comprising defining measurement strategy, vision, and requirements to support business objectives and improve decision making processes.

  • Gather business requirements and identify measures, approaches and methodologies for measuring success against objectives.

  • Design and generate frameworks that provide insight to the success of digital marketing programs.

  • Apply various quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources as needed.

  • Establish measurement infrastructure for data capture and reporting, determine processes and systems to ensure end to end tracking of customer journeys. Gather and define test and learn objectives and agendas as required.

  • Maintain a functional expertise in integrated channel marketing, analytical tools, techniques, and other similar requirements.


  • Strong foundation in digital marketing and analytics

  • Has knowledge of the healthcare industry and continuously follows trends

  • Able to manage, delegate, and assign complex projects and timelines

  • Strong analytic skills, preferably in the marketing field

  • Impeccable attention to detail and very strong ability to convert complex data into insights and action plans.

  • Keen ability to visualize data through graphing/ charting/ information display skills (strong Power Point skills are essential)

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are needed along with top-tier communication and listening skills

  • Research and pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience, a plus

  • 6+ years' experience in marketing analysis, digital marketing, quantitative consulting


  • Bachelor's Degree in quantitative fields such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related experience

  • Master's Degree or PhD a plus

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in Excel, MS Access, and Microsoft Office products

  • Experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and GTM

  • Working knowledge of leading marketing analytics software tools such as R, SAS, SPSS, or programming languages such as Visual Basic or SQL

  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, a plus
