Job Description:
Minimum Position Qualifications Required:
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school or program and proof of current California license.
Knowledge: Requires ability to read and interpret complex documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write complex reports. Knowledge of basic arithmetic and algebraic concepts such as proportions, percentages, and simple equations; successful completion of pharmacology test with an overall score of 80% or greater.
Special Skills/Equipment: Ability to display professionalism in the work environment; ability to concentrate on details in a busy, distracting environment; ability to solve practical problems and deal effectively with situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions presented in written, verbal, diagram or schedule format.
Licenses/Certificates: Must possess a current RN license issued by the State of California. Unit- specific capabilities and/or certifications are required on hire or within the introductory period (i.e., ACLS & PALS). Current BLS certification is required.
