Sr. Business Manager

Responsible for development and management of individual estimates, scopes of work (SOW) and staffing plans. The individual will work closely with the account teams and discipline leads to define scope and pricing. Work closely with Director of Operations on overall financial well-being on assigned accounts and brands.
Create and manage estimates, ballparks, SOWs, brand/indication staffing plans
Participate in New Business Development (RFP and/or pitch)
Liaise with other OCH and external partners for budget estimating
Experience working with client cost consultants
Manage Dashboard (internal systems), including budget inputs, status update based on SOX guidelines and updates
Ensure discipline leads review and approve all staffing plans
Lead scope reduction exercise if reduced budget is required
Lead regular financial status meetings with Account Management and Finance
Create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs)
Maintain documentation of all budget estimates, POs, task orders, changes in scope, and updates via client approvals, and client approvals
Review all transfers, write-offs, and invoicing documentation for approval
Review and approval for client monthly budget trackers, quarterly accruals and reconciliations
Liaise with Finance Administrators to ensure all financials are accurate and appropriate for internal and client monthly finance meetings
Oversee junior business management team on:
Budget/Dashboard management (inputting and maintenance)
Client systems management (propel, decideware, ARMS, etc.)
Portal files for housing of estimates, SOWs, rate information, etc.
Staffing tool submissions to finance and updates as necessary
Updates of rate on SOW templates (client and standard rates)
Risk mitigation (ensure BM raises any potential issues, as needed, for appropriate support/action plan)
Implement training of junior business management on roles/responsibilities (budget development/management, financial aspects of the business)
Educate account team leads on the estimating process and need for comprehensive specifications as necessary
- College Degree
- 4 - 5+ years Advertising Agency experience
- Experience in budgets/financial estimating
- Ability to work independently and manage communications to all organizational levels
- Detail-oriented and take-ownership attitude
- Excel expertise - Minimum intermediate knowledge
- Project Management experience a plus
