Job Requirements: Responsibilities: • Provide outstanding customer service to employees in person, phone and via email • Work with colleagues to complete full cycle payroll for BC and AB employees • Support and assist employees with payroll related questions and requests • Consult with managers regarding payroll concerns, research and process adjustments as required • Run bi-weekly audit and final payroll audit and research/key any required changes as advised by Facility Leaders • Demonstrate respect to all employees by working with them in a calm, courteous manner • Other duties as required Qualifications: • Completed Payroll Certificate Program • Minimum of 2 years payroll experience in a unionized environment • Experience with ComVida Payroll system • Excellent accuracy, time management, problem solving and organizational skills • Current knowledge of British Columbia and Alberta Employment Standards preferred • Excellent computer skills and prior experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Effective and empathetic verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and to work effectively as a member of a team • Superior customer service skills
