Job Description:

Eurofins QC is a full-service environmental and pharmaceutical laboratory that has provided analytical chemistry and microbiological services to a diverse range of clients since 1943. Eurofins QC's analytical product array is focused on providing testing services that enable clients to meet their regulatory and monitoring commitments. Analytical data is produced within a quality system framework that provides clients with an accurate and representative portrayal of a sample's constituents. This data empowers them to make informed, confident decisions regarding future actions related to regulatory compliance requirements.

Eurofins is searching for an Environmental Client Services Group Lead in Horsham, PA. Client Services Representative-Lead is primarily responsible for tracking and creating tracking methods for all Client Service operational metrics. This person will also be involved in daily contact with customers submitting environmental samples to Eurofins QC and internal liason with all Eurofins Laboratories and EQC departments for coordination of sample processing, analysis and delivery and interpretation of results.

Client Services Group Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

Regular attendance and punctuality

Primarily responsible for tracking and creating tracking methodology all Customer Service operational metrics

Serving as the laboratories' primary point of contact for assigned clients;

Scheduling of courier deliveries and pick-ups;

Tracking the progress of all laboratory production efforts;

Advising clients in a professional manner of any scheduling conflicts, possible delays, or other problems which may arise;

Resolving any questions or issues that clients may have with regard to our services;

Ordering and possible prep of bottle kits for use by clients in their sampling efforts (as necessary);

Reviewing of reports/EDDs (Electronic Data Deliverables) as necessary prior to release;

Record and respond to customer requests and concerns while implementing an "on time" tracking system for in-house projects according to account assignment. Act as communicator between labs, administrative areas and clients. Work in conjunction with sales department providing information to or about new and existing clients.

Work during the hours assigned and work overtime or weekends and/or holidays when requested. Possible weekend On-call work.

Record each customer contact (fax. phone, email or in person) by client name, date and time of call, nature of inquiry, and time/confirmation of completion.

Provide customers with results or information via fax, email, letter, or verbally as required, whether routine tracking procedure or special request

Serving as back-up contact person for other Client Service Reps/Project Managers in the event of his/her absence;

Coordination of all subcontracting efforts for projects assigned;

Preparation and implementation of program QAPPs (Quality Assurance Project Plans), if needed;

Communicates client information or requests to labs, sales, sample management, field services, QA, accounting/billing, or QC management when specific request is outside customer service representative's area of expertise, or when appropriate department is unavailable for client request. This includes completion of appropriate forms to facilitate sample container preparation and delivery, sample pickup, rush sample notification, complaint forms and requests for price quotation, result interpretation, or analysis recheck and review.

Routine perform review will take into consideration ability to learn technical aspects of the position which are required to conduct yourself professionally with the clients, ability to work with others in a team environment, numbers of phone calls handled on a daily basis, ability to deal with high stress situations in a professional manner.

Conduct other special projects as directed by the Client Service Manager

Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner, Adhere to Company Handbook and health and safety policies including eye and ear protection

Performs other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate would possess :

Able to lead and work in a team environment

Good writing skills

Strong computer (Excel, Word, Access), scientific (Environmental Lab), and organizational skills

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in science, business, or other related degree concentration

Knowledge of environmental sampling and analytical methods

Comfortable interfacing with clients on a daily basis on technical issues

Computer literate

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Horsham, PA are encouraged to apply.
