Job Description:

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS is searching for a LIMS Validation Scientist in West Point, PA.

The LIMS Validation Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·Being a part of a Discovery project supporting Laboratory Operations

·Verifying the transfer of data from SQL LIMS to Labware version 6.0 (Key responsibility)

·Provide Procedural updates as needed. (SOP Driven)

·Collaborating effectively with functional areas and support functions,

·Leveraging relationships and networks to improve and enhance team dynamics; proactively identifying and removing obstacles to drive business results.

·Preparing for, facilitating, and documenting outcomes of team meetings, ensuring meetings have clear purpose and objectives and that conflict is surfaced and resolved.

·Preparing regular reports that summarize project status/issues and documents

·Serving as the single point of contact, facilitating information exchanges across multiple touchpoints between client company and their partners.

·Supporting effective continuous improvement activities, including periodic after-action reviews.

The ideal candidate would possess:

·Five to ten (5-10) years of experience working in Pharma industry

·Hands on experience with SQL LIMS and Labware is a must have.

·Keen eye for details and ability to effectively compare the migrated dates between source and target

·Ability to understand protocols and perform formal test execution

·Demonstrated leadership and ethics; demonstrated ability to hold others accountable for delivery

·Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting and individually

·Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; able to establish good working relationships with employees at all levels, resolve conflict, and to devise and implement creative solutions to problems

·Strong communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated ability to speak up appropriately and to raise issues to teams and management

·Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries preferred;

·Ability to understand Lab Assays and Processes

·Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in a scientific and applied discipline within biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration

·5-10 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience.
