Job Description:

The Customer Relations Manager (CRM) will support the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test, Evaluation, Certification (TEC) contract at Fort Meade, MD., and Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Acting as a principal advisor to the Program Manager, CRM primary duties include (but are not limited to), understanding the customer's mission, business capabilities, and priorities. The CRM will establish, maintain, and grow customer relationships at all levels of the customer organization beginning with individual technicians, up to and including all levels of leadership (including Commanders and Senior Executives).



The CRM will define and execute a communication and collaboration protocol that best suits the specific customers' needs. Additionally, the CRM will advise and assist the Program Manager in all aspects of contract execution including Human Resources, Financial management, technical solution development, and overall leadership of the contract. Position will be located at Fort Meade and will include frequent travel to Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction with Jacobs and our ability to perform technical tasks resulting in exceptional mission accomplishment

  • Delivers exceptional client service while fostering collaboration across all levels of both the government and contractor organizations

  • Regularly measure customer satisfaction level and identify steps to improve satisfaction levels.

  • Influences clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people.

  • Understands key objectives for clients, aligns people to objectives and sets priorities and direction.

  • Managing the day-to-day activities to ensure programs and projects meet organizational goals and requirements.

  • Implements and provides guidance related to processes and policies, oversees the work of project management staff, and prioritizes projects and programs.

  • Directs and oversees an organization's planning function to promote organizational effectiveness.

  • Mentors project leaders to improve processes, procedures, and standards based on programmatic needs.

  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and may provide consultation on complex projects as a top-level contributor/specialist.



Education and Experience



  • Master's degree in a relevant technical field and 13 years of technical experience in the field or in a related technical area, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and at least 15 years of technical experience in the field or in a related technical area.

  • Relevant technical degrees include the following, while other curriculums may be considered by the Government: various engineering and science disciplines, Physics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Mathematics.

  • PMP or equivalent certification is required. Equivalent certification is defined as DAWIA PM Level II or higher.

  • U.S. Citizenship and Top-Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
