Abraxis, Inc. is searching for a Life Science Business Development Manager to cover the US.

Life Science Business Development Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·Develop and implement the sales strategy and plan.

·Achieve sales and gross margin targets by delivering on both volume and price targets set in annual sales plan; Provide monthly updates.

·Promote, position, and sell Abraxis Products and Services to identified target markets.

·Represent Abraxis at professional meetings, conferences, seminars and related networking events to identify new business opportunities.

·Prepare and deliver client-specific presentations to respond to client needs.

·Contribute to and maintain marketing materials and company website.

·Be knowledgeable of industry trends, and competitor offerings.

·Expected travel associated with position is 25-50% of the time and may change with industry/business demands.

·Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned.

The ideal candidate would possess:

·Experience in Marketing research and participating in Commercial Strategy preferred

·Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives with ever-increasing responsibility and sustained growth

·Highly effective at overcoming obstacles and/or objections; Experience influencing and connecting multiple decision makers and stakeholders with varying degrees of influence and personality types

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management within the Company and outside customers

·Highly creative at identifying new and different ways to engage new clients.

·Experience with developing and presenting pricing and proposal models

·Self-motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources

·Experienced in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·Knowledge of CRM management highly desirable.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

·Minimum of a BS/BA degree in a relevant, science-related field plus 5+ years of relevant life science reagent/service sales experience required

·Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
