VP, ACCOUNT GROUP SUPERVISOR - New York, NY


RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Understand account dynamics and have the ability to mobilize resources to most effectively meet client requirements across WPP team account
* Supervise strategic development and implementation of client campaigns
* Work with Supervisor and Team Leads to develop strategic marketing goals based on brand strategy and direction, as well as analyze critical marketplace data
* Maintain client contact with members of brand team
* Liaison between the agency and client to establish goals and budget and ensure the receipt of quality, cost-effective solutions
* Fiscal responsibility for client budget, expense reporting
* Continues to build knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and is comfortable playing an advisor role with client brand teams
* Mentor Account Executive(s) and inspires others to be passionate about the work

SKILLS:
* Previous experience managing professional promotional campaign development and execution within the Pharma/Healthcare category
* Strong commitment to team building and working within team environment
o Experience on team accounts and/or working across disciplines is preferred, but not mandatory
* Strong client relationship management skills
* Successful track record managing client assignments and working on cross-functional agency teams
* Knowledge of all agency functional areas; including strategic planning, creative, project management, production, and medical direction/strategy
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Positive, enthusiastic, and responsive

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, professional experience required; HCP experience preferred
* Experience with integrated marketing strategy (Professional/Patient/Digital) would be a big advantage for prospective candidate
* Excellent interpersonal skills and superior communication skills are essential
* Ability to address complex strategic marketing problems and propose viable solutions is necessary
* Must exhibit strong leadership ability and exercise good judgment and diplomacy
