Job Description:
Christus EMS formerly known as Champion EMS is currently seeking highly energetic and motivated EMT Basics and Intermediates. The EMT is responsible for administering appropriate emergency medical treatment to people who have been injured in accidents or have other medical conditions, and assists in rendering advanced emergency medical treatment. Routinely assist with the inspection of the ambulance and related equipment to ensure proper operation and sanitary cleanliness.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; and completion of approved EMT-Basic or Intermediate training.
Minimum of one year of experience in EMT-B and EMT-1 duties and responsibilities, preferred.
Certificates, licenses, Registrations - Must possess and keep current a Texas EMT-Basic or Intermediate License.
Must possess a current active Class "C" Texas Driver's license.
Must possess a CPR certification.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
