We have an immediate opening for PROJECT MANAGER in our Parsippanny, NJ office.

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects on time, on specification and on budget, and provides completed documentation. The PM will manage the project from kickoff to postmortem, working with the client, Account Management and balance of team to clarify program design and details. The ideal candidate will have both online and traditional Marketing agency experience on pharmaceutical/healthcare (HCP) accounts. This is not an IT position.

Project Management executes the strategy that supports service delivery excellence, client profitability and client satisfaction, and makes use of best practices across clients.

* Develops, owns and manages project and program timelines
* Manages the project lifecycle from inception to completion and is comfortable with workflow processes for multiple tactics
* Manages multifunctional team, including Account, Strategy, Medical, IA, Creative, Tech, QA, et al, to define the overall scope of a project
* Demonstrates effective planning, organization and time management skills and analysis/assessment capabilities
* Contributes in weekly resource planning sessions, evaluates staffing needs across clients and brands, works with other department leads to prioritize work, fills resource gaps and anticipates future resource needs
* Proactively identifies project issues/problems, assists in issue/problem resolution and provides project updates and collaborates with team members to initiate solutions
* Provides concise and appropriate feedback on project inputs, outputs, internal processes and quality assurance measures to the appropriate functional groups
* Has experience with full-scope management, including strategy, design and implementation of projects.
* Enforces quality control standards, ensuring milestone sign-off from cross-capability team members: Development, QA, Production, Art Buying, Editorial and Studio departments

* Serves a client-facing role supporting the business objectives and delivery
* Maintains a solid grasp of performance metrics, creative development and cross-channel technology implementation
* Ensures all QA has been performed and approves completeness of project deliverables
* Manages internal and client expectations as they relate to project scope
* Is comfortable with MLR submissions and with incorporating quality control processes into each submission - i.e., testing, proofreading, annotating and NTRs
* Organize project workflow & creative deliverables between agency, internal client technology team and vendor management

* Pursues of the latest trends in direct marketing practices relentlessly
* Ensures all QA has been performed and approves completeness of project deliverables
* Ensures that project resource allocations are accurate and in line with project estimated budgets
* Maintains model of best practice PM process / methodologies to ensure efficiency in workflow practices across all capabilities and partners with all agency capabilities to build understanding of PM process
* Participates in and supports development of annual scope and project estimates through approval (fee and OOP)
* Tracks ongoing costs and changes in scope throughout project lifecycle and reconciles estimates to actuals on all projects
* Flags risk and participates in the development of potential mitigation strategies making certain they are implemented to ensure seamless project delivery
* Escalates and defines project overages and performs cost analyses for multiple scenarios for the Account team and senior management to evaluate investment opportunities


  • BS / BA degree

  • Healthcare Advertising Agency experience

  • 2+ Years of Project management experience

  • Both Online and Traditional Marketing experience
