Assistant Art Director


The Assistant Art Director supports the senior art lead on their assigned brand and is responsible for the visual design and execution of branding elements and promotional deliverables both online and off. As part of the larger creative team, the Assistant Art Director works closely with art department staff, as well as copy partners, imaging, studio, media lab personnel, and the full operational brand team. He/she participates in all aspect of creative jobs from start to finish.


  • Contribute to the design and develop compelling creative across all media, utilizing a solid knowledge of the digital and print production processes.

  • Contribute to the development of a range of creative executions for each project and be able to effectively collaborate with internal and external brand teams

  • Conceptual potential

  • Works with copywriter partner to brainstorm creative approaches to communicate the client's message

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of production techniques, options, budgets and project timing.

  • Keeps current about marketing and design trends, visual styles, technological advances, social media…and their influence and applicability.

  • Delivers presentations to team and/or senior creative personnel.


  • Bachelor's degree in visual communications or equivalent

  • Advertising and/or print and digital design portfolio or website equivalent

  • Proficiency within Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Video Production highly desired
