Systems Engineer-II to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Service Delivery Element on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), Schriever AF, CO. The candidate must possess a wide variety of skills from establishing metrics for event management to creating enterprise level processes for events and budget planning. Outstanding customer service skills will be critical to enable event management staff to function as part of a cohesive team, responding to fast-paced changes from internal and external forces, and delivering a high-quality product on schedule. Assisting in development of event work products and participating in schedule gate reviews to ensure MDA/IC-provisioned systems and services will be available for upcoming events and real-world ballistic missile defense operations support. Participation in Event Service Delivery Team meetings in order to identify methodologies for expanding and evolving Event Management and provide quality event support to customers. Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate process control changes. Structure shared information environments to achieve organizing and labelling websites, online communities and software to support usability and findability. Work with the team to recommend appropriate changes in process/approach. Provide future project teams with information that can increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Basic Requirements: HS diploma (or GED) with 8 years general experience and/or an Associate's degree with 6 years general experience and/or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years general experience; must include 4 years directly related experience. Candidate will have basis knowledge of System Engineering (INCOSE) best practices and documents used to identify and track event resources. Experience using SharePoint for advance customization and custom workflows. High level of analytical skills and problem-solving. Scheduling experience using MS Project - excellent organization, time management, networking, and computer efficiency.
