Job Description:
Our client, a full-service Network Operations Centre and Helpdesk company, located in North York provides services across North America and Overseas is in search of a full-time technical Senior NOC and Helpdesk Specialist. This is an in-office role and requires substantial experience with PSA/RMM tools with a focus on Managed IT Services based on NOC and Helpdesk Operations. You will report directly to a senior team leader.
Customer Service Skills:

Effectively handling phone service inquiries from clients requiring any assistance

Providing remote technical support at all levels to all clients

Responding to technical alert notifications on client servers and network appliances

Creating and managing technical tickets

Managing IT related alerts and notifications

Collaborating with team members

Working to build best-in-breed managed technical solutions

Technical Requirements with Sound knowledge and experience:

RMM Tools such as AEM, Labtech

PSA Tools such as Autotask, ConnectWise

Managed IT Services concepts including integrations and central management of tools

MS Hyper-V


Windows Desktop OS (XP-7)

Windows Server 2003-2012 (including R2)

Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

Backup technologies such as Windows Server Backup, VEEAM,

BackupExec, Acronis

Networking appliances such as commercial-grade firewalls, switches, routers, etc.

Internet/networking concepts such as VPN, Public DNS, Dynamic DNS

Office 365

Antivirus and antispam technologies

Linux considered an asset

Hosting concepts considered a definite asset

Essential Attributes:

Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written for IT and business personnel

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and resolve problems in a timely manner

Capable to multi-task while working in a fast-paced and stressful environment

Strong desire to learn and take on new responsibilities

Strong attention to detail

A self-starter and able to drive tasks

Indicate your primary language and any other languages that you speak that may potentially be an asset

Ability to work rotating shifts
