Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage Rate: $26.00 Hourly

Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day

• Completion of Secondary School Required
• A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the job will be an asset.

Several years of experience in similar field required

Job Duties:
• Manage the daily operations of the store, including cash handling, customer service, and inventory control.
• Responsible for purchase orders, and inventory tracking & analysis.
• Regularly meet with sales people, and merchandisers.
• Resolve customer complaints in accordance with all operational guidelines.
• Perform opening and closing functions.
• Ensure conformance of all store operations to all applicable laws and regulations.
•Coordination with distribution companies, and liquor companies about pricing and sales strategies as well as product selections.
• Responsible for in-store merchandising such as layouts, promotions, and displays.
• Responsible for stocking of merchandise in the wine area, and maintaining the overall appearance, and cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
