Job Summary:
Mayo Clinic is dedicated to providing a comprehensive, holistic approach to patient care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with chronic and complex conditions, including varied symptoms, chronic illness, disordered eating, and more.
In this role, you will provide thorough healthcare services—including assessments, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning—while collaborating closely with a diverse team of practitioners such as registered orthomolecular practitioners, herbalists, naturopaths, functional medicine doctors, and other healthcare or alternative medicine professionals. Our goal is to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for patients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized care and treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of holistic and conventional practitioners
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (JaneApp experience preferred)
• Perform medical tests as required for diagnosis and treatment
• Manage cases effectively, especially for patients with complex or chronic health issues
Job Requirements:
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and valid state licensure
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient-care best practices
• Familiarity with medication protocols and laboratory procedures
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Prior case-management experience is an asset
• Experience with chronic and complex health conditions
• Experience with MVA cases (preferred)
• Willingness to work on a sliding scale once a month to support accessibility for all patients
Job Details

• Pay Range: $100–$180.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 8–28 hours per week
