Job Description:
Job Title: Bookkeeper
No. of Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend (if required)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Work Address: 6450 137A Surrey, BC, V3W 1S6
Wage rate: $36.70 per hour for 40 hours per week. Overtime will be paid after 40.00 hours.
Education: High School required, diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field an asset
Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
Languages: English.
Job Duties:
• Enter day to day financial transactions and maintain records
• Make financial statements and complete tax forms
• Monitor office expenses, tally and enter cash receipts
• Balance and maintain accurate ledger
• Draw up financial statements i.e. trial balance, income statement, balance sheet
• Prepare and process payroll
• Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
Essential Skills: Oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, continuous learning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook, and QuickBooks.
