Location: Jackson, MS (Travel to project sites required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Construction Inspectors to support various infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, and transportation systems. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity offering stability and hands-on field experience.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect construction activities on water and wastewater plants and systems, including electrical, chemical feed, and sedimentation basin components.
Document daily progress, materials onsite, contractor resources, and any issues encountered.
Prepare detailed daily inspection reports, noting weather conditions, crew activities, equipment use, and general site observations.
Attend project meetings with engineers and contractors when required.
Monitor safety and environmental compliance and report any issues.
Assist with project closeout and final inspections.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
2–4 years of construction inspection experience, preferably in water/sewer and transportation projects.
Skills & Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience completing reports using tablets.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk or climb as needed.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Relevant certifications or licenses in construction inspection or management are a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
OSHA 10/30-Hour Certification
State water/wastewater certifications
