Job Description:
CAD Technician
Leeson Engineering Incorporated dba Leeson Engineering Inc., is looking for an experienced full-time CAD technician. Applicant should be able to work well in a team and have excellent communication skills.

Position: Cad Technician (NOC 22212)
Full-Time, permanent position, 30 hours/week (shifted schedule)
Hourly Wage: $37.00/hour
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation
Position Available: 1
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school
A university degree or a college diploma in engineering design and drafting technology or in a related field OR Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR 1year of work experience in related position
Knowledge of BC Building Code and Vancouver Building Bylaws will be an asset
Applicants from other provinces will also be considered
Language: English
Job Duties:
Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations
Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets
Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data
Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, diagrams or layouts from sketches
