Client provides full-service civil engineering, transportation engineering, land planning, landscape architecture and surveying services to private and public sector clients throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Client is currently seeking Civil Engineering Project Managers with 6+ years of experience in land development, site design, and water resource projects. Successful candidates will be responsible for leading and managing land development engineering projects. The position is based in our Annandale or Chantilly, VA office.
Requirements:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering; EIT certification highly preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in land development, site design, and water resource projects.
• Strong knowledge of Northern Virginia land development applications.
• Experience with Residential, Commercial, and Mixed-Use projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong civil engineering design skills (grading, drainage, utilities, site infrastructure).
• Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to quality and detail.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare CAD drawings, site layouts, utility designs, and roadway designs.
• Develop erosion and sediment control plans and hydrologic computations for stormwater management.
• Perform pavement design, site distance analysis, and site work quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and county reviewers.
Key Skills
A B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. An EIT certification (highly preferred). High proficiency in designing, preparing and processing land development applications in Northern Virginia jurisdictions. Experience with Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use Land Development Projects.
