Job Title: Cook

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift
Wage: $17.25 per hour, 30 - 40 hours per week

Positions Available: 3 vacancies
Job Description: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Order supplies and equipment; Supervise kitchen staff and helpers; May train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment; Clean kitchen and work areas; Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit; Food safety/handling skills
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: English
Work Setting: Restaurant
Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, Dependability, Organized, Team player
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail; Repetitive tasks; Standing for extended periods
